Whether you are departing for your holiday abroad, or arriving at Manchester airport to drop of or pick up friends or family, there are several car parking options available at the airport. Where you choose to park should depend on the estimated duration of your stay. By choosing the appropriate car park you could save yourself a lot of money.

Manchester airport is divided into 3 separate terminals (1,2 & 3). Each terminal has it’s own short term car parking areas which are located in the multi storey buildings opposite the terminal entrance. These places are great for quick drop off’s and pick ups. Payment is by the hour and you get a card which will tell you how much you need to pay when you are ready to leave. If you are less then 30minutes it will only cost you £2.

As for Long stay parking, there are two Major car parking areas. One which services terminals 1 and 3 and a separate car park for terminal 2. The long stay car parks are located away from the main terminal building and require a short bus trip to get there, so it is worth adding in some extra time to your journey.

Payment for the machines can be dealt with either in cash or by all major credit and debit cards. You can simply turn up and pay – with set prices. Up to 24 hours will cost you £20 or 7 days will set you back £64. For the best deals book online in advance.

Manchester Nightlife
